Your cholesterol companion.
Eat for your numbers, watch them move.
LipidHelm keeps your lab panels in one place, turns a photo of your plate into saturated fat, fiber and fat quality, and shows what you ate between two panels next to how your numbers moved — so the next appointment starts from facts.

What it does
A panel takes a minute. Understanding takes LipidHelm.
Type the numbers from your lab report and LipidHelm shows each one against your goal, with the app's plain reference labels. Snap your meal and the AI estimates saturated fat, unsaturated fat, fiber and the rest. Every day gets a saturated-fat budget and a Lipid grade, and every new panel closes a window: what you ate, how you moved, and how the numbers moved. Nothing is hidden behind a score.
Log your labs, see the trend
Total, LDL, HDL and triglycerides from each panel, in mg/dL or mmol/L, with the app's reference labels and the change since your last panel. Two panels make a line; three make a trend.
Meal scanning for saturated fat & fiber
A photo or a one-line description becomes saturated, unsaturated and trans fat, fiber and its soluble share, and dietary cholesterol — the numbers that matter for lipids.
A daily Lipid grade
Saturated fat against your budget, fiber against your goal, fat quality, trans fat and cholesterol — five signals, one explainable letter, with the math shown.
Where your saturated fat comes from
Over a month, LipidHelm names the foods behind your saturated fat and your fiber, so a swap is a decision, not a guess.
What changed between your labs
Every panel after the first closes a window: days logged, saturated fat and fiber per day, fat quality, weight and workouts — next to how LDL, HDL and triglycerides moved. Observed, never claimed.
A coach that knows its place
Daily tips and chat grounded in your actual labs and meals. It talks food, fat quality, fiber and habits — never medication, supplements or diagnoses.

Speaks your language
The whole app in 20 languages — AI included
LipidHelm follows your phone's language automatically, or any language you pick. Not just the buttons: meal analyses, recipes and coaching answers come back in your language too.
The same screen, following the phone's language.
Private by design
Your lab results belong on your phone
Lipid panels, meals, weights and settings live in a database on your device — not on our servers. Cloud backup is strictly opt-in, tied to your account, and deletable from inside the app with one tap. No ads. No third-party trackers. Meal photos never leave your phone except for the moment of AI analysis, and we don't keep them.
Questions
Frequently asked questions
What do LDL, HDL and triglycerides mean?
They are the four numbers on a standard lipid panel, with total cholesterol. LDL is the cholesterol most linked to plaque in the arteries, so most goals aim to keep it low; HDL helps clear cholesterol, so higher is generally better; triglycerides are a blood fat that rises with sugar, alcohol and excess calories. LipidHelm shows each value with a plain reference label and your own goal — your care team interprets them.
What does meal scanning tell me?
Take a photo of your plate (or type a one-line description) and LipidHelm's AI identifies each food, estimates portions, and returns the numbers that matter for lipids: saturated, unsaturated and trans fat, fiber and its soluble share, and dietary cholesterol, plus calories and the other macros. You review and adjust everything before it's saved. They are estimates, and the app says so.
Which languages does LipidHelm support?
Twenty: English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Simplified and Traditional Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Arabic, Hindi, Russian, Italian, Dutch, Turkish, Vietnamese, Thai, Indonesian, Malay and Polish. The whole app — including AI answers — follows your language.
Where is my data stored?
On your phone, by default. Your lipid panels, meals, weight history and settings live in a local database. Cloud backup is optional and tied to your account; you can delete the backup or the whole account from inside the app at any time. Apple Health and Health Connect are read for workouts and steps only — never for lab data. There are no ads and no third-party trackers.
Is LipidHelm medical advice?
No. LipidHelm is a wellness diary that gives general information and estimates. It is not a medical device, it never suggests starting, stopping or changing a medication or taking a supplement as treatment, and it never diagnoses or rates your risk. Its reference labels follow standard guideline ranges; your goals are set with your care team, and treatment decisions belong to them.
Where can I download LipidHelm?
